METHODS
POLICIES & PROCEDURES
RETURNS/WARRANTY: If you are not satisfied with an
item, return it within 30 days of receipt for either a) a complete refund,
b) exchange for a like item, or c) store credit toward purchase of another
item – the choice is yours. Labor costs and other charges incurred on
returned parts are not refundable. Before returning parts, call us to
obtain a ‘Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. This number
must be clearly marked on the outside of the package near your return
address. Packages will not be accepted without this number. All returned
parts must be in ‘LIKE NEW’ condition and in the original
packaging and accompanied by a copy of your ORIGINAL INVOICE. Returns
are not allowed on special orders, electrical items of any kind, audio
products, literature and apparel items. All returns must be returned
PRE-PAID. Used, modified, painted or altered parts cannot be returned.
All parts are warranted to be free of defects in material or workmanship
for 90 days. We will at our option, replace or exchange defective merchandise
during the warranty period.
DAMAGES: Should you receive damaged merchandise, call
UPS immediately. They will start the claim procedure. Do not ship the
parts back to Mustang Parts House. Keep all boxes and packing material,
as they may want to inspect it. We will assist in every way possible
to see that your claim is taken care of.
SHIPPING CHARGES: Individual orders of $300 or
more are shipped via UPS ground at no charge within the continental
United States with the following exceptions: oversize packages, some
sheet metal parts and certain items requiring special handling. For
orders less than $300.00, add 10% for shipping ($9.75 minimum). Shipping
charges of the oversize items will be determined by size (i.e.: oversize
1, $25.00 oversize 2, $35.00 and oversize 3, $45.00).
Certain sheet metal parts must be shipped by truck freight due to
size and weight limitations of UPS. Shipping charges are not known
at order time and will not be included in these invoices. The customer
must call (1-800-956-8782) with credit card information for billing
of those charges (again, they are not shown on your invoice). We
will at our discretion, ship via US Postal Service as conditions
warranted.
EXPEDITED ORDERS: For mail orders or orders placed
on-line, shipping is by UPS. We do offer next day, 2 day and 3-day
UPS service. The customer must call (1-800-956-8782) with credit
card information for billing of expedited charges.
Orders to Alaske and Hawaii can only be process by calling of faxing orders. Shipping charges will be actual cost whether ground or expidited. These orders
will be processed as expedited orders as stated above.
TAXES: Currently, sales tax of 8.75 % is added
for orders shipped within California.
INTERNATIONAL: Shipping will be made by UPS and
in most cases next day or second day air only. The customer pays
all shipping charges, duties and clearance costs. These orders will
be processed as expedited orders shown above.
BACK ORDERS: We will make every attempt to ship all orders
in a timely manner and complete. If a part is temporarily out of stock we
will at our discretion, ship what is available and back-order the remainder. Your complete order will be billed at the time the orders are shipped.
We will ship back ordered items as soon as possible unless notified by the
customer to cancel back orders. All back orders are cancelled
after 30 days. Refunds due for backorders not shipped will be refunded after 30 days. Bear in mind that many parts are manufactured offshore and
long delivery cycles may be encountered for selected parts.
PRICING: Prices in effect reflect those at a given point
in time and are subject to change without prior notice. Due to constant changes
in today’s market, we reserve the right to change prices and product
availability without notice at any time. In the event of price conflicts
between those on our web site and in our catalog, the web site prices will
prevail.
